Skills & Qualities

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Data Expertise: Strong understanding of relational database management tools, particularly SQL and Kdb+, with knowledge of data best practices and basic data governance principles.
  • Advanced Excel: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with a bonus for basic knowledge of VBA.
  • Data Manipulation: Proficiency in data manipulation, including data cleansing, enrichment, and linking datasets.
  • Qualifications: A university degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative subjects.
